About Our Grade 3 Class
We have 26 wonderful students in our classroom. We look forward to learning new skills, developing friendships and of course speaking French. In our classroom, we help each other, we learn from each other and we believe that making mistakes is part of learning!
About Mme Pelleau
I am very excited about teaching grade 3 again this year. I know from experience that grade 3 students also enjoy this particular year because they will be allowed to speak English in class for the first time! Indeed, English Language Arts (speaking, reading, writing) is part of the program of studies in grade 3.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, hiking, crosscountry skiing and overall, spending time outdoors in nature. I am also passionate about discovering the world and love to travel. Since our grade 3 social studies program is all about world connections, I share my travelling experiences with the students whenever I can.
As a teacher, I aim to create and foster a sense of community within the classroom where every child feels welcome and safe to learn. I believe that students have their own and unique learning style and that they all have something to contribute to our classroom community. I put great emphasis on communication, cooperation, work ethics, risk taking and positive attitude. I want each of my students to experience success along the way.
I very much look forward to working with you and your child this year. Through fun and creative activities and positive relationships, I know that this will be a fantastic year of learning for all of us. Please do not hesitate to communicate with me when needed.
Sincerely,
Mme Pelleau
